Tips for Hay Day lovers(3)

Farm for Land Clearing, Building or Expansion Supplies
Here is a neat trick to get duct tapes, saws, axes bombs quickly. Plant a lot of wheat on your fields. Since wheat only takes 2 minutes, the chances of you getting those supplies are much higher. Check out this video for evidence.
Finding a Toolbox on a Friend’s Farm, Helper’s or a Follower’s Farm

If the box found is closed, you need to tap on the screen. Do not tap on the X button. Now, you need to find the same toolbox on one of your friend’s farm. As long as you find an unlocked toolbox, you will be able to use all the tools which are kept inside this toolbox. With the help of these tools, the farming will keep running smoothly.

In case, the toolbox you found on your friends farm is not unlocked, you will need to keep trying until you find an unlocked toolbox. As long as you keep finding unlocked tool boxes, you can keep using the free tools found in the unlocked tool boxes.

Do Not Sell to Visitors Unless You Need Gold Fast
Try not to sell to any visitors because they are there because they don’t want to pay a premium for your goods. Unless you are really in need of gold, stick to selling your goods in the Roadside Shop for better prices.

You can also sell your excess products to your friends and followers. To get an idea of the sale price, you can check the newspaper to see the ongoing prices. One trick to sell off the produce quickly is to provide a 10% discount on the highest price mentioned in the newspaper.

In case you do not have enough goods to sell, you have the ability to dump the order. The orders will keep coming and you may need to wait a few minutes for the next order but it will come. Each order also displays the money and experience you will earn. These figures are mentioned at the bottom.

Tips for Hay Day lovers(2)

In Hay Day players begin with a small farm and a small allocation of game coins and gems. Here are some tips for you to play it better!

Tom the Delivery Boy
Tom gets unlocked at level 14 and is awesome when you need extra crops for production. He can get you some extra crops when you need it for an affordable price. You can use him every 2 hours, which is more than enough if you are a daily player.
Watching Trailers
Occasionally, you can watch trailers, which is a letter close to the post box on the floor. Watching them will usually get you 1 gem. They often promote other games.

Getting Diamonds
You can get diamonds by completing achievements. Some times, the treasure chest you find in your farm daily will give you diamonds as well.
Tricks and Cheats

There are many cheats available in this game. One of the easiest tricks is to receive double the amount of usual coin and experience for completion of a boat order. For this cheat, you will need to quickly click on the check mark and hold that check mark down, when a boat comes into the dock and you get an order.

You will need to quickly click the X at the top once you let go the check mark. You will see that you have gained double the amount of usual coins and experience. However, bonuses are not doubled with this trick. Another disadvantage of this cheat is that it is not equally effective after some time. It works brilliantly for the first few tries.

Tips for Hay Day lovers(1)

When you start the game Hay Day, just plant a lot of crops such as wheat and corn. Make sure you follow the basic instructions given by the game.
Experience vs Making Money
When you start the game, you should focus on experience first. You will want to hit level 7 quickly to have access to the Roadside Shop. Taking orders with the truck will yield quick experience and some gold.
The Roadside Shop
This is your gateway to making money. Sell your items at a premium to other players for more gold! The sweet spot is always 75% of the max price you can sell your items. For example, if the max price for 2 bacon and eggs are 250 gold, sell it at 180 gold. It will always sell out after a few hours.
Balancing Your Crops and Production
You will always want to make sure to keep at least 1 crop to grow so that you won’t be caught having no ingredients to produce goods. As a general rule of thumb, you will want to keep 2 crops of each kind. Growing 1 crop will always be multiplied by 2, so you will never run out of that crop.
If you accidentally use it all, fear not, you can head over to your friend’s shop to buy them.

Review on Hay Day

Are you one of those folks who have flooded their friends Facebook wall with FarmVille related feeds? Well even if you aren’t, Hay Day is the game for you to get your hands dirty and show your passion for agricultural activities.

Hay Day is one of those games that has amazing graphics. It is very vibrant and fun to play.The game is full of options. You can sow seeds, harvest the crops, and have some farm animals.The best thing is that the fun doesn’t stop here. You can further produce products from these agricultural activities of yours and sell them to the market or different people who show up at your doorstep.You can also trade with your friends. How do you trade with your friends? Well you can connect the application with Facebook using the in-built options and send request to your friends who can join you.You can also sell items using a road side shop and even buy items from other players by viewing their news adverts available in your game’s mailbox! As you progress from one level to the next, more and more options unfold. You can install a bakery, feed machine, dairy, sugar mill, popcorn pot, BBQ grill, pie oven, loom, cake oven and juice press. But as I said earlier, that most of these items will be locked initially and will only be available as you progress.There are coins which you get when you sell items. And there are diamonds which you get when you Level Up or complete some tasks listed on the achievement board. You can view these tasks by clicking on the house. You can use these diamonds to speed up the process. But you need to use these diamonds wisely because they are very limited in number. The game also sends you notifications on your phone if the game screen isn’t active that your crops are ready, etc.Don’t forget to collect mystery box which appears at different places on the game map while you play. At times the item in the mystery box is for free and at other times you have to spend 3 diamonds in order to have it unlocked.

Over all the game is fun! Though I don’t like the part where I have to wait for 7 hours for the bbq grill to be constructed because come on its a game! How can you make the user wait for that long? I find that to be quite unfair!

Hay Day Review

Hay Day was developed by Supercell and it’s available for free. If you are into farm games like Farmville, you’ll love this one even more. It has a different take on the usual farming apps around.

Like other farm apps, you will manage an old farm to make it modern and successful again. Take care of producing livestock like chickens, cows, pigs, goats and sheep. There are also non-producing animals that you can get like dogs, cats and horses. Farm and grow crops like wheat, corn, carrot and different fruits. These can be purchased using coins, which is the main currency of the game. The premium currency, which is diamonds, can be used for making processes faster.
There are various buildings that you can purchase, which you will need for earning coins. Unlike regular farming games, you will not get coins for harvesting on your farm but instead you can sell your produce or use them to make different new products that you can sell like bread, muffins, feeds, cheese, flour, pies and more. This is more realistic as this is what you need to do to earn in the real world. Items and products that you want to sell can be displayed on the road side store for your Facebook friends to see. You may also advertise them so everyone playing the app would be notified. You will need specific buildings for creating new products.
Specific ingredients are also needed, which you must have on your storage. These ingredients can be from your produce. If you do not have a certain ingredient and you do not want to grow it on your farm, another option is to purchase it from another player. For instance, to make bread, you need to have a bakery building and three wheats as ingredients.
This is one of the best farm games that you can get. It gives you a real feel of the farm life, from farming to selling of produce. It also allows interaction with Facebook friends though not from Game Center. Hearing real sounds of the animals in your farm adds more fun. The graphics is also crystal clear. There is no offline version of this game, so you must be connected to WiFi or 3G to play.

The funny game: Hay Day

In Hay Day players begin with a small farm and a small allocation of game coins and gems. The coins can be used to purchase farm supplies and are also the form of payment received when goods are sold, either at the roadside stall, by filling orders or to visiting neighbours. The gems can be used to speed up the game. Gems are harder to obtain, generally being awarded when the player moves up a level or completes certain achievements. They can occasionally be won in games of chance.

A tutorial shows the player how to get started. The player must grow crops which can be sold and turned into animal feed or goods like bread. Animals can be bought- they must be fed and tended to collect eggs, milk etc.  A bakery, dairy, sugar mill and more can be purchased with money earned. Some activities have long waiting periods until the goods are grown/produced.
Players can visit neighbouring farms to view their set up and purchase items. Some of the neighbouring farms are those of fictitious game characters. Others are the farms of other players (see below in Online player profile section for more detail on this).
There are many levels to progress through, each adding new items which can be purchased, accessed or produced.
This game requires the player to plan ahead, consider the best use of resources, monitor multiple activities, be patient and also allows creativity with farm design. It is educational and entertaining. The game can become quite engrossing – there can be a lot happening which could make it difficult for some to put the game down.
While the content is suitable for young players, they may require adult assistance to manage the more strategic aspects of the game.

What’s fun in Hay Day

Hay Day provides an interactive gaming environment for all players. You can find a lot of fun in this game! It avoids the gruesome side of livestock farming; slaughtering animals never comes into play. Instead machines extract bacon from pigs without harming them. As well the livestock requires food to produce goods, but not feeding an animal will never lead to its death.

A chicken coop then pops up in the shop menu for purchase. After placing a coop on the farm, a gamer can house up to six chickens. However chickens only produce eggs when fed. Livestock feed mills utilize the crops grown on field plots to make animal feed. At first it takes little strategy to keep the few chickens fed, but as cows, sheep, pigs, and goats make their way into the game, feed mills must work at an unrelenting pace to keep up with hungry animals. Much like with crops, each species of livestock takes a specific amount of time to produce the products they supply. A chicken produces an egg in fifteen minutes whereas it takes a sheep five hours to generate wool. As gamers progress, multiple chicken coops, cow and sheep pastures, and pig pens allow for the simultaneous production of a greater number of livestock products. Of course the addition of more livestock means feed mills have to produce greater quantities of livestock feed.

Money plays a big role in Hay Day. Gamers must purchase items and livestock from the shop menu and therefore must find ways to make money. Selling goods to neighbors that wander up the driveway is a sure way to collect gold coins. Each farm also includes a delivery truck parked next to an order board. Each order requires a certain number of products that correspond with the gamer’s level of achievement. Filling these orders (as well as the orders that arrive by steamboat later on in the game) provide not only money but also the experience points required to level up. Every farm also includes a roadside market where goods offered up for sale are purchased by other gamers in the Hay Day community.

Hay Day allows gamers of all ages to participate in an environment where buying and selling goods leads to achievement. It promotes community building through the inclusion of roadside markets through which gamers aid each other’s pursuits. It also permits young gamers to learn about the workings of an agricultural economy without pushing their maturity to the limits.

Review: Hay Day is loved by all ages of players

The game Hay Day  simulates farming activities with a cartoonish flair. Brightly colored animations add to the visual appeal.
It begins with a tutorial during which the gamer learns how to operate the touch screen controls. After clicking and dragging field plots from a shop menu, a gamer plants wheat or corn. The variety of crops a gamer has access to increases through level ups. Leveling up also leads to the availability of additional field plots, leading to higher crop yields. Each crop in the game takes a certain amount of time to grow. Crops that appear later in the game take the longest time to grow. Wheat takes only two minutes to grow before harvest but larger crops such as pumpkins grow for three hours.

Hay Day provides an interactive gaming environment appropriate for all ages. It avoids the gruesome side of livestock farming; slaughtering animals never comes into play. Instead machines extract bacon from pigs without harming them. As well the livestock requires food to produce goods, but not feeding an animal will never lead to its death. Therefore children can learn the importance of agriculture without getting too much exposure to the life cycle. Surely no parents will develop aversions regarding the game’s content.
