Review on Angry Birds

Most casual news watchers are familiar with explosives that have names like "bunker busters" and "daisy cutters." However, in Rovio Mobile's popular game, Angry Birds, multicolored chickens can take on the properties of these same bombs when pushed to the limits by egg-stealing green pigs.

Explosive chickens, adorable as they are, would be pointless without big buildings to topple, and Angry Birds provides more than 200 of them, with more added all the time. You can thoroughly demolish anything from stone castles to glass houses as you punish those evil, egg-stealing pigs.
To play, you simply load up a chicken in your slingshot, pull back while setting your angle, and let go to start the destruction. Angry Birds' gameplay is incredibly easy to understand, and the visual payoff for blowing stuff up is consistently impressive. Blue chickens split up in midair for a spread effect; heavy bomb chickens explode and send structures flying; and egg-laying hens let you deliver a yolky payload directly below.

You always receive the chickens in a particular order, which diminishes some of the strategy. Even though some chickens can be used to set up chain reactions, like using a burrowing hen to soften up a building's stone exterior and then following up with a ticking explosive chicken to blast out the walls--you don't get to do this if you don't get the chickens in this order.
Although you might fling your chickens in the same spot each time, the game's sensitive physics system usually gives different results. It's generally impossible to re-create specific trajectories and reactions, so there's some luck involved where obtaining a high score (and a full three-star rating) is concerned. There aren't really any tangible benefits to completing every mission with a three-star score, besides boasting about your score on the online leaderboards, anyway. Angry Birds has some minor issues, but most of the time, you won't notice because you'll be too busy trying to squish pigs and make full use of your chicken arsenal. The game's weapons, physics, and varied levels are really quite excellent, and they make this military-farm-complex a whole lot of fun.

Angry Birds Review: a three year old can play too!

Do I really need to talk about Angry Birds? I went back and forth on writing this piece as Angry Birds is one of the most ubiquitous games in history. It takes advantage of the growth of touch screens, with all of the controls so simple a three year old can play.

Gameplay
I will start by saying that this is the game on my phone I have spent the most time on,
and I believe the reason is its addictive game play.
Even if you do the same thing over and over again I almost seem to never get bored with watching my angry birds fly across the screen.
I believe the main reason for my part is that the physics of the game just seem so natural,
as if birds really would fly that way if slung from a slingshot, and that wood and stone really
would break and fall like that if hit by homing birds.
It simply is one of the best games ever made for any platform.
Story
A tribe of green pigs keeps stealing the birds eggs, and you have to help get them back.
Graphics
The look and feel of this game is just great. Everything seems well thought out, from the way you can zoom in on what suits you, the birds the pigs or if you should like, zoom out til you can see everything on the entire screen.
Sound
Not much music to speak of, the game play how ever is accompanied with a multitude of sounds, birds pigs and the sounds of birds against timber and stone. More or less sounds like you are in a zoo. My favorite way of hurling mad birds towards evil pigs is with the sound muted.
Controls
You control the birds more or less the same way you would use a slingshot in real life, Put tension
on the rubber band and when satisfied release.
Some of the birds have special moves witch you use simply by tapping the screen.

What Angry Birds Teaches Us

Angry Birds is one of my favorite examples of a game that can teach us. As difficult as some of the levels are, the time it takes to restart each level is minimal. This keeps the gamer from getting frustrated and quitting and allows them to quickly get back into the game and learn from their previous mistake. Failure is something we have written about before, and that is because we see it not just as character building, but one of the best ways to learn.

Trying to knock down the scaffolding in the picture above is going to be difficult. You have to understand the physics and mechanics of the game. you have to know what tools you are given and how best to use them. The bird in the illustration will drop and “egg” that explodes on impact when you tap your screen, but where should you use it? Some of the scaffolds look precarious. Can you set off a chain reaction that causes each level to collapse?
Modern games have perfected the ‘physics engines’ to the point where we expect them to act like real life. Angry Birds is remarkably close to real life (at least as close as a cartoon birds can be), not in terms of Force = Mass x Acceleration, or any math based physics, but in how the reactions feel to the gamer. The cause and effect of the game make sense and are internally consistent. You know that when you use a yellow bird, it will smash through wood easily. Or when you take out a support beam, the platform will wobble and collapse.

The game will also show you the line that represents the flight from your previous bird, so you can make adjustments to angles, speeds, etc. very quickly. That kind of instant feedback is key to making an immersive experience, but also in helping your recover from the frustration of a bad shot as well. It also helps improve hand to eye (finger to eye?) coordination by allowing you to trace out a good shot, or quickly identify where you could improve.

The Gameplay Of Real Steel World Robot Boxing

Real Steel World Robot Boxing packs bigger punches, harder-hitting battles, and double the action of its predecessor Reel Steal with better graphics, brand new robots, more modes and head-to-head multiplayer. In the not-so-distant future where boxing is taken to the extreme, people and robots synch up for a larger-than-life entertainment experience. Pilot a bot-crushing behemoth and jab, uppercut and haymaker your way to victory!

The gameplay of Real Steel World Robot Boxing is very challenging and many different things can happen. There are many different robots to buy. Players get to upgrade their robot and customize them. Players can play against different robots. Some may be challenging and some may be easier. Players can play in regular matches until they are ready to compete in the championship match. There are many levels you must pass. Robots include fan favorites such as Zeus, Atom and Twin Cities. The developers have added new robots. There are 10 different arenas. Get upgrades for your robot and get and a great edge on your opponents. Each level gets harder and it the fights get brutal. Players can earn silver coins and gold coins. Silver coins are easier to earn. Players can sue them to upgrade their robot. However, when upgrading part of your machine, players have to wait a certain amount of time for it to be upgraded. Your robot is charged up to 5. Every match he competes in will because it get lowered by one. You can buy charges also and the first time to rebuy them is free. After a certain amount of time(if you dont want to pay for it), the charges will recharge. The four modes you can play in each level are Championship, Time Attack, Daily Exhibition and Free Sparring. I really enjoy how fun and addicting this game actually. I play it all the time and never get bored.

The controls of Real Steel World Robot Boxing

The controls of Real Steel World Robot Boxing  is the same the whole game. When you are fighting, there are four arrows kind of like the arrows on a keyboard.

You can move your robot around with those arrows. Then there is a normal punch. This punch will only have a small impact on your opponent but it can still be effective. Second, the power punch. This is your robots hard punch and it causes a lot of damage. Lastly, is the defend button where you put your hands in front of your face so the other robot cant hit you. Your opponent can also do that and it makes me angry. When you start damaging your opponent, the game allows you to do a special attack which helps you hurt thee opponent more. It will knock them to the ground if done correctly. However, they get right back up. To finish them off, just press the circles on the body parts to the robots to end the match. You or your opponent will celebrate after the victory. So the controls are great and is just one simple button to do, it is great and is not confusing.

Graphics Of Real Steel World Robot Boxing

Graphics are excellent. There are a lot of different robots in Real Steel World Robot Boxing.

They all look different and are created different. You can really see all the textures of robots. Their body parts and armor look shiny and clean. I love how this game looks. The many arenas have different atmospheres. Most are indoors arenas some are outdoors. You can hear the announcer at the beginning announcing the robots names.. The fans are constantly going crazy. When striking an opponent robot, you can see the effects of the hit. A big blue wave would be an example after punching a robot. The game also lets you know the weak spot of the robot when you are trying to finish them off. It zooms in on their weak spots. I adore how the armor has a glare on it because it makes the game look clean. Some robots look like garbage and havent been cleaned. When your robot wins or loses, the screen will change the angle of your view which is a nice effect. Everything on this game runs really smooth, the animations look so real and don't lag one bit. I really how everything on this runs smooth with no lag. Lag would ruin this game because you wouldnt know when to punch. This game can improve on making the arenas look a lot nicer.

Fantasy Images Of Real Steel World Robot Boxing

Real Steel World Robot Boxing for Android is very popular and thousands of gamers around the world are crazy about  it.

A exciting action game:Real Steel World Robot Boxing

Real Steel World Robot Boxing is an exciting action which can be download for free in 9game.

I’m not sure why exactly Real Steel hasn’t done so well at the box office, but I’ve had a great time watching the movie (twice) and thought Huge Jackman fit the role perfectly. If you haven’t seen it, Real Steel is based on the 1956 short story Steel by Richard Matheson and follows former boxed Charlie Kenton who owns the aging robot Ambush.
It’s year 2020 and human boxers have been replaced by robots so cash-strapped Kenton makes a living by sending Ambush to fight other robots in tournaments across the country. The animatronics, stunts, special effects and acting are all very smooth.
DreamWorks, whose movie-making arm released the movie, has released a new tie-in, Real Steel: World Robot Boxing, for the iPhone and iPad as a free to play download on worldwide App Stores (the game previously soft-launched on the New Zealand App Store only)…
The game builds on its predecessor (see bottom of post) by packing better graphics, new robots, more modes and head-to-head multiplayer.
Real Steel: World Robot Boxing brings with it a total of 24 robots like Zeus, Atom and Twin Cities, eight new contenders (Touchdown, HollowJack, Blockbuster and Biowar, to name a few), ten nice arenas and four diverse modes (Championship, Time Attack, Daily Exhibition and Free Sparring).
Spicing things up: new special moves and cinematic Rip-Offs. On top of that, there are new social features and live multiplayer over Wi-Fi to take on your friends’ hulking mechanical brutes.

Time to fight some larger-than-life robots now!

Review of Modern Combat 5

I do have one more ongoing concern with Modern Combat 5 , and this might be a deal breaker for many of you. You need to have an internet connection to play the game—yes, even the single player. Frankly, I can't think of any good reason other than (maybe) combating piracy. The game comes with the first zone when you download it, but the others are loaded when you unlock them (a nice feature, actually). So of course you need a connection for that, but I'm talking about levels you are currently playing. If you lose connectivity for even a moment, the game pauses and tries to reconnect. You cannot play until the server has been reached.

With a controller, It is a fun game. The difference is so stark that I can really only recommend buying it if you intend to play with a controller.
2014-07-25 02.23.21
The story didn't really strike me as interesting or relevant to the gameplay, but it seems to have been deemphasized this time, which I'm fine with. The lack of IAPs is a total win, though. It's refreshing to play a game with unlockable content that isn't tied to a paywall. Yes, MC5 is a $7 game, but you get everything for that price—and there is a lot of content here. So you should consider picking up Gameloft's newest shooter, but only if you have a controller or hate yourself a little bit.

The various on-screen control of Modern Combat 5

If you've played any of Gameloft's previous shooters (especially Modern Combat 4), you won't find many surprises in the controls for Modern Combat 5. The various on-screen control schemes rely on some arrangement of dual thumbsticks. Drag on the left side of the screen to walk forward/backward and strafe side to side, and use the right side to aim. Here's where things get weird—when you want to fire, you pick up your right thumb and press the floating trigger button. While pressing this, you can still drag around to refine your aim, but nothing is going to make that process completely smooth.

2014-07-27 05.45.31
Modern Combat 5 has extremely aggressive aim assistance on by default, and frankly, I can't imagine playing this game on a touchscreen without it. I say this as someone who plays a lot of shooters with a keyboard/mouse and a controller. Once your crosshairs find a target, your aim will actually stick there, even if the enemy should run a short distance. It's weird, but you'll wrestle with the controls enough even with the auto aiming. Sometimes it can get incredibly frustrating as you switch back and forth between swiping and tapping the fire button, always feeling just a little disconnected from the action.
The bottom line is that on-screen FPS controls are awkward, but I will grant that Gameloft has done the best job of making a shooter enjoyable on a touchscreen. I guess you could say the controls are good... in the context of other mobile first-person shooters. If you're not wiling to settle for barely passable controls (and you shouldn't), your best bet is to pair a controller with your device. I tested Modern Combat 5 on the Nvidia Shield, which is fully supported as a controller. Most other HID devices with the standard layout should work too.
2014-07-27 05.43.00
Using a controller instantly makes MC5 more playable (you need to increase the sensitivity, though). The difference is actually huge. With touchscreen controls I feel anxious and off-kilter playing Modern Combat 5, but I'm instantly at home with the controller. That's not just because I'm used to a controller, but the precision of a physical thumbstick is higher, and (importantly) you can fire while aiming without moving your thumb from the stick.

Modern Combat 5 Review

Like a great many developers, Gameloft has resorted to rolling in-app purchases into most of its games. One notable exception to that de facto rule is the new installment of the Modern Combat series. These games have much more production value than any other mobile first-person shooter, but this is a genre that's notoriously hard to adapt to touchscreens. So, can a big production budget make Modern Combat 5: Blackout worth your time?
Modern Combat 4 focused on an intricate and ultimately uninteresting story about a terrorist who took every opportunity to remind us he was the bad guy through the use of torturously long cut scenes. Modern Combat 5 is still about terrorists blowing stuff up and shooting people, but there's less time spent on an attempt to flesh out everyone's motivation for shooting stuff. If you ask me, that's a good thing. The story is no more compelling in MC5, but it stays out of your way more than in the last installment.
The game's story mode takes place across six different zones including a Buddhist temple, a bustling metropolis, and a military base. Each area has 4-6 missions that advance the story, which is mostly about figuring out what these terrorists types are up to (it doesn't really matter—you still just shoot all of them). After finishing those missions, there are a few "spec ops" levels to go through in the same zone. These are quick one-off missions that might call upon you to cover your team from a sniper perch, breach and clear a few rooms, assassinate a target, or rescue a hostage. The level design is reasonably good, and the spec ops stuff is surprisingly fun. I actually replayed some of these missions just because.

Guide For Modern Combat 5: Blackout

Modern Combat 5 Blackout is a sequel game from Modern Combat Series by Gameloft on 9game.You will have a lot of fun playing it!

Modern Combat 5 Guide

Arrange or Customize your On Screen Button Placements
Since we have different devices and different screen size, we should arrange the default on screen button placements for our own comfort. A comfortable On Screen Button Placements increases your efficiency in any "Modern Combat" games.
Turn ON your Aim Assist
This "Aim Assist" feature will help you in assisting your gun's cross-hair to automatically move to nearest enemy. This is helpful in terms of playing on a touchscreen based device.
Know your Weapons
This is very essential in any First Person or any Shooting games. Know it's weaknesses and strengths of your Weapons. If your are choosing a weapon that needs real money, "Know your Weapon" is a must.
Practice
Practice makes perfect! However majority of players tend to play in single campaign before playing with multiplayer. That is fine but unfortunately some of them will not play with multiplayer because they feel that their skills and ingame items are not good enough. Perfectionism in first person or any shooting games will ruin your game experience. Games are meant to be fun and not serious. Remember Modern Combat 5 is not a freemium game, you buy it with real money so you should enjoy playing with multiplayer.
In-App Purchases
In-App purchases have always advantage over those who plays without spending a single penny ingame. Use this advantage because approx 98% of players plays without In-App purchase. It can also enhance your game in single campaign!

Modern Combat 5 approaches its multiplayer.

‘Bigger and better’ is probably the best way to succinctly describe how Modern Combat 5 approaches its multiplayer. Maps are larger and feature more multi-leveled arenas as well as more places to hide and prepare for battle.

There are four classes now, each with their own weapons to unlock and ability trees to invest in. For example, the Heavy uses shotguns and grenade launches and can be trained in damage reduction while the Sniper (aside from the obvious sniper rifle specialty) can be trained to launched decoys in multiplayer. There’s enough variety in terms of traits and level selection that makes each class viable in multiplayer.

Of course, game modes, maps and customizability are all well and good, but doesn’t amount to much if the game itself doesn’t play well. Thankfully, MC5’s multiplayer players pretty awesome. The game plays incredibly smooth, even more so than its single player component (most likely due to the fact MP minimizes the occurrence of visual effects to dedicate more resources to framerate). Controls work as well as they can for being touch-based, with plenty of on-screen button customization and gyroscopic aiming which works better in this sequel. I’ve also encountered next to no lag in the dozens of MP games played since launch.
